Eligibility Criteria

Subjects Requirements – The candidates appearing in the examination must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in Class 12.

Age Limitations –

i) The appearing candidate must be of 17 years by and before 31st December in the year 2019.

ii) The birth date of every candidate has to be before 2nd January (2000), to get the eligibility for applying in the examination.

Educational Qualification –

i) Candidates must pass Class 12 examinations from any recognised boards in the country.

ii) The least score should be at the least 60% marks for the category of General and 50% for the ST or SC.

iii) If any candidate who is appearing in the examination to qualify, he/she has to submit the documentary evidence after the exam results come out.

iv) OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) needs to give a document of OCI registration that is under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955.

Questionnaire Setup

AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam contains 200 objective-kind of questions from Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and General Knowledge. There are also questions on Aptitude and Logical Thinking. Marks Distribution

The total mark is 200 for 200 questions. For a correct answer, you get 1 mark. For a wrong answer, negative marking of 1/3 takes place. No deduction or addition of marks happens for unanswered questions.

Exam Timings and Shifts

There are 4 shifts of the exam altogether. In the two days, 2 shifts are there, one in each day. Total time for one shift is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Morning shift is from 9-12:30 pm and the afternoon one is from 3-6:30 pm.
